69^th REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

On the fateful morning of 26^th January 2018 DAV Khadia celebrated 69th Republic Day in the school premises with a great enthusiasm. The whole school reflected the flavor of “Unity in Diversity, Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat” that was the theme of the celebration. Hon’ble chief guest, Shri Sanjay Mishra, General Manager of Khadia Project, with his team led by worthy Principal, Shri Ashok Mathur unfurled the National flag and received the guard of honour. After this students invoked the precious contribution of patriotic fervor by a variety of cultural programmes comprising of P.T display, patriotic song, folk dances and speeches. Folk dances of Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya, Maharashtra, Sambalpur and Chhatishgarh mesmerized the audience and filled an air of pride and patriotism. Merit certificates were also distributed to the academic achievers of the session 2016-17 by Hon’ble chief guest. He appreciated the students’ performance in all the fields and encouraged them to be brave and face all the challenges with courage. At the end of the journey he reminded everyone the pious and devout duty towards our sacred motherland by singing the patriotic song “Kar chale hum fida jan o tan saathiyon………”along with his team, teachers and parents.

The celebration ended with the sweets distribution among the students.
