TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION

D. A. V. Sr. Sec. Public School, Khadia celebrated Teachers’ Day with zeal and zest on 4^th September, 2019 in the air of immense excitement. The students of class XII took over the duties of the teachers for the day. A special morning assembly was held in which the students paid tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan , the first Vice-President and the second President of India . They also paid homage to their teachers through poems and speeches. The Principal, Mrs. Sandhya Pandey addressing the assembly lauded the entire staff for their exemplary contribution to the school’s phenomenal success.

On this special occasion D. A.V. Khadia also hosted a grand celebration for  the teachers on 5^th September,  2019 from all the D. A. V. Schools of UP Zone B as per the directives of Shri Himanshu Kumar Mohanty , Regional Officer of D.A.V. Schools, UP Zone B. The Principal, Mrs. Sandhya Pandey and Principals of all D.A.V. Schools welcomed Shri N. N. Thakur, Director Personnel NCL, Singrauli who was the Chief Guest on this occasion, Shri Amarnath Pandey Chairman, Chief General Manager of Khadia Project who was the ,Guest of Honour, Smt Neelu Thakur Vice President of Mahila Mandal, Smt Mamta Pandey President of Sanjeevani Mahila Mandal Samiti were  the Special Guests. About 350 teachers gathered in the school premises to commemorate this mega event.

While releasing the school magazines the Chief Guest appreciated the sincerest efforts of the teachers in playing a catalytic role in the holistic development of every student.  After a beautiful mesmerizing musical and cultural programme by the group of students and teachers of D.A.V. Khadia, a grand lunch was organized. Everyone cheered and relished this mega celebration.
