ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED UNDER “SEWA SAPTAAH”
D. A. V. Sr. Sec. Public School, Khadia took up following activities from14th September, 2019 to 20th September, 2019 in and around the school premises under “Sewa Saptaah” “ SWACHHATA PAKHWADA”
In response to the letter of the Nodal Officer, Sewa Saptaah, Block- Myorpur, Sonbhadra, patrank/ sewa- saptaah/ 179-180 dated 20/9/2019 received today on 21/9/2019 please find the details & photographs attached herewith of the activities held in our school.
1. Swachhata Oath Ceremony was organized on 14th September, 2019 during the morning assembly in which all the teachers and students took pledge to put best of their efforts to keep their surroundings clean.
2. A Swachhata Rally was organized on 19th September, 2019.
3. Shramdaan was undertaken by students in the school premises and in the colony and nearby surroundings on 18th September, 2019. Students collected plastic wastes from and around for the safe disposal of the same.
4. Essay writing and Speech competitions were organized on the topic “SAY NO TO PLASTICS” for the students of class VI to XII on 20th September, 2019 to create awareness to limit the use of Single Use Plastic and publicize the use of alternatives.
Students enthusiastically participated in the above-mentioned activities and were encouraged to take up this mission as the future pillars to create awareness among the grownups also so that their future could be safe and secure.
To organize at least one motivational programme at School Level related to "Swachchhata" every month to create awareness regarding cleanliness & Clean Environment.
