68^th Republic Day Celebration

DAV Khadia celebrated 68^th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. On this glorious day, Shri. A. N. Pandey, GM Khadia Project was the chief guest of the function. Other NCL dignitaries, hon’ble Principal, Mr. Ashok Mathur along with his esteemed mother, worthy Parents and several other invitees made the occasion special by their presence. The chief guest hoisted the tricolour and witnessed the March-Past . A lovely Rangoli marked with “SATYAMEV JAYATE” captured the heart of the invitees where the Chief Guest lighted the Lamp and gave a traditional beginning to the Cultural programme.

 The cultural performances including patriotic dances, songs, P.T and speech by the students were captivating and mesmerising. Teachers’ group song was also a heart winning presentation. The Principal, in his address, briefly accounted the achievements of the school. He expressed his deepest regard for Sri Punam Suri, DAV CMC President who received Padam Shree Award on 26^th January 2017 for his contribution in the field of art and literature. He shared the names of achievers who received Rs.30,000 in “MedhavI Kanya Dhan Yojana” and received laptops by State Govt. On this pious occasion, Mr. A. N. Pandey, GM Khadia Project appreciated the progress and achievement  of the school under the headship of hon’ble Principal and encouraged to achieve academic excellence in the days to come. The programme ended with a tribute to national heroes again and sweet distribution.
