INVESTITURE CEREMONY OF STUDENT COUNCIL

                    VENUE: SCHOOL ASSEMBLY GROUND

Investiture Ceremony of Student Council (2017-18) was organized on 18^th July 2017 in the school assembly ground at 10:00a.m with a great zeal and excitement. All the students of class IX to XII and House Masters were assembled in the ground and the members of Student council stood in their position near the stage with the house flags furling in front of them.

The ceremony started with Gayatri Mantra and DAV Anthem. Hon’ble Principal, Mr. Ashok Mathur conferred the badges and sashes to the Head Boy and Head Girl. Likewise, the badges were conferred to the Dy.Head Boy, Dy. Head Girl, Sports Captain, Cultural Captain, House Captains and Vice- Captains simultaneously. Then the council members took the oath to be responsible representative and do the best of their ability to uphold, promote and support the ideas and activities of the school. The Head Boy and the Head Girl expressed their thankfulness and assured to work diligently with the cooperation of all. Worthy Principal congratulated all the members and advised them to perform as a positive role model. Thereafter, in an air of great excitement he declared “BEST HOUSE OF THE YEAR “award for the session 2016-17 and it was DAYANAND HOUSE to win this award. The House Master, Mr. R.P.Shah collected the Running Trophy amongst the huge applause and cheers.

The ceremony came to an end with a photo session and exchange of congratulations.
