SPECTACULAR INDIA

70th Republic Day was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm in the premises of DAV PS Khadia on 26th January-2019. The celebration named SPECTACULAR INDIA
started with the flag-hoisting by hon’ble chief guest, Sri Manoj Kumar Prasad, General Manager Khadia Project, followed by March Past and National Anthem, in the presence of Office bearers of NCL Khadia Project, hon’ble Principal Mrs. Sandhya Pandey, teachers and students. The campus became lively and cheerful with patriotic slogans.
Traditional ceremony of the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest dignitaries and students, started the cultural programme. Students displayed mass P.T. and delivered speeches commemorating the great occasion. Beautiful patriotic dances and group songs added colours to the occasion, a beautiful. “Dancing act” based on the life of soldiers touched the hearts of the audience.
At the end of the programme the chief guest showered his blessings on the august gathering of parents and students emphasizing the need to learn discipline and punctuality from defense persons. Hon’ble Principal infused positivity in all the budding citizens of the country and conveyed her belief in the young students of the school.
The gala celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets among students’, staff and parents.
