D. A. V. Sr. Sec .Public School, Khadia celebrated 155th Mahatma Hansraj Jayanti in the school premises with active and willing participation of students and teachers. The morning assembly was dedicated to Mahatma Hansraj. Students of class IX delivered speeches in English and Hindi highlighting the life story of Hansraj and reminded everyone the contribution of this Indian educationist who worked as Principal for 25 years without taking even a single penny.
Hon’ble Principal, Mrs. Sandhya Pandey lighted the lamp in front of the portrait of Mahatma Hansraj and along with the students and teachers paid homage to the great soul. She addressed the assembly and expressed her feelings saying that Mahatma Hansraj believed in the religion of mankind who dedicated his whole life rendering his selfless service in the interest of mankind. A special ‘Hawan’ was also organized on this occasion.
