71st REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

On the fateful morning of 26th January 2018 DAV Khadia celebrated 71st Republic Day in the school premises with a great allegiance and flag waving spirit. The whole school reflected the flavor of “INTEGRAL INDIA” that was the theme of the celebration.
Worthy Principal Mrs. Sandhya Pandey with the team of teachers and students welcomed Hon’ble chief guest, Shri A. N. Pandey, Chief General Manager of Khadia Project and all distinguished guests in the school premises. The Chief Guest unfurled the National flag and received the guard of honour. After this students invoked the precious contribution of patriotic fervor by a variety of cultural programmes comprising of P.T display, qawwali, dance performances based on patriotic songs and speeches which mesmerized the audience and filled an air of pride and patriotism.
At the end of the journey Hon’ble Chief Guest appreciated the students’ performances and reminded everyone the pious and devout duty towards our sacred motherland by citing the Preamble of Indian Constitution. He further encouraged the students to learn the strength and qualities that will help them to bear their responsibilities with steadfastness as responsible citizens of India in the years to come.
The celebration ended with the sweets distribution among the students.
